Who We Are

Panasea was created by Ocean Pride Fisheries, a family-owned seafood company located in Wedgeport, Nova Scotia, with decades of experience working with Atlantic sea cucumbers.

What began as a commitment to sustainable harvesting evolved into a new purpose: transforming marine expertise into natural wellness solutions for pets.

Our "Race to Zero Waste" initiative focus on creating value for all parts and pieces of sea cucumbers that land on our shores. Using the nutritional value of the sea cucumber flowers to create a healthy option for pets is bringing us one step closer to our goal of eliminating waste completely.

Our Mission

It’s about supporting pets through every stage of life with nutrition that works quietly in the background, day after day, helping them move better, feel better, and live well. Reducing visits to the vet and keeping your best friend healthy from day one.

  • We use unique ingredients and superfoods that have a clear purpose. We formulate our products to support real health needs: joint mobility, digestion, skin and coat health, brain function, and overall vitality. If an ingredient doesn’t deliver functional value, it doesn’t belong in your best friend’s bowl.

  • Pet parents deserve transparency. That’s why our recipes are built with simple, recognizable ingredients and nothing unnecessary. No fillers, no artificial flavours, and no unclear sourcing, just clean formulations designed to be trusted and used every day.

  • The most effective nutrition is the nutrition pets actually eat. We focus on highly palatable formats,  dehydrated raw foods, treats, toppers, functional soft chews, that make daily supplementation easy, consistent, and stress-free for both pets and their people.
